Finally gave those new wireless load cells a shot on a job in Tacoma

I was sure they'd be a pain with signal drops, but the crew on the 14th floor swore by them. We used a set from LoadStar for a tricky pick over a live rail line, and the real-time weight readout on my phone was a game changer. Anyone else running wireless gear on mobile cranes now?

How was the battery life on those LoadStar units? We had a demo set that drained way faster than the specs said, especially in the cold.

Yeah, that cold weather hit is a known thing with that model. What firmware version was your demo unit running? The early 2.1.x builds had a huge battery management bug they didn't fix until late last year.
