Man, I totally get that, Demags just have a different feel to them don't they?

Oh yeah for sure. Reminds me of the time I was at a buddy's garage sale and this old guy spent twenty minutes explaining how his Demag from '72 still had the original paint. I nodded along the whole time and ended up buying a broken leaf blower from him instead.
