Rough week on a job site in Phoenix where everything went wrong

Last Tuesday I was running a 50 ton crane on a commercial site in Phoenix. The load shifted weird when I was lifting a steel beam and I had to set it down fast. Then the radio died and I couldn't hear the riggers for 20 minutes. By Friday the hydraulic line blew and we lost half the day. Has anyone else had a week like that where it felt like everything was against you?

Heard this same kind of story from a buddy of mine who runs a small crew in Tucson. He was setting a big concrete panel a few months back and the wind just came out of nowhere. Said the panel started swinging and he had to drop it hard, cracked the corner. Then his excavator threw a track and they had to wait half the day for a repair truck. By the end of the week he said his whole crew was just staring at each other like they were cursed. Honestly, some jobs just feel like the universe is playing a joke on you.
