That one time a simple lift in Spokane turned into a 4 hour ordeal
Had to set a 12-ton HVAC unit on a downtown roof last month, but the rigging plan didn't account for a hidden steel beam that blocked the path. We spent three hours re-rigging with a longer spreader bar and re-checking all the load charts before we could even start the pick. Anyone else ever get jammed up by a surprise structural element like that?

Sounds like a normal Tuesday in this line of work.

My crew once spent two hours trying to lift a generator over a wall we swore wasn't on the prints.

My buddy's team did something like that last month. They spent a whole morning trying to fit a big AC unit through a door that the plans said was wider. Turns out someone read the scale wrong, lol.
