Tried a new anti-sway software on a job in Denver and it actually worked better than I thought

I was running a 150-ton crane for a tight lift downtown last week and the wind was picking up. The site foreman insisted we try this new program called 'SteadyHook' that he'd heard about. I was pretty sure it was just a gimmick, but after we calibrated it for the load, the swing was cut by almost half. Has anyone else used this kind of tech on a mobile crane, or do you still swear by the old manual method?

Wow, I was a total skeptic about that stuff too.
