Warning: dropped $400 on a "crane load indicator" from Facebook and it was a total scam

Fell for a similar scam buying a "digital torque wrench" online - turned out to be just a regular wrench with a sticky note that said "torque" on it. At least you got ripped off trying to be safe on a worksite, I was just trying to look cool in my garage (still haven't lived that down, honestly). These Facebook marketplace deals always seem too good to be true, and they usually are. The scammers must be making bank off guys like us who just want to save a few bucks.

Oh man, @loganl22 that sticky note story actually made me laugh out loud, not gonna lie. I once bought a "smart water bottle" from a similar deal and it was just a regular thermos with a digital clock sticker slapped on the side. Guess we're all just out here learning expensive lessons together, huh?
