Watched a guy in Dallas boom up without checking his outrigger pads and it cost him $4,800
He set up on what looked like solid ground last Friday but the pad sank about 6 inches once he swung the load, and the whole rig shifted enough to bend a hydraulic line. I always walk my pads and eyeball the soil before I even start the engine, takes maybe 2 minutes. Anyone else got a close call that made them add a step to their setup?
