Blasting Master of Puppets vs Back in Black, which one gets the head bangers nodding at a red light?

I cranked Metallica at a stoplight in Chicago last Tuesday and a guy in a minivan gave me the horns, but when I did AC/DC the same spot last month, the old lady next to me just rolled her window up, so is it about the song's opening riff or just the raw volume that wins people over?
