Finally found my car karaoke anthem after a random road trip
I was driving through the Smoky Mountains on a solo trip last fall and my phone died, so I just let the radio play. Out of nowhere, 'Mr. Brightside' came on and I screamed it for like 15 miles straight with no one watching. Has anyone else had a song find them at the perfect moment like that?

Make a playlist called "Phone Dead" for moments like that. I literally have one stocked with random radio hits just in case. Mr. Brightside is a solid choice though, I bet those mountains echoed with pure emo energy

Right? That's actually genius, I need to start doing that. Last month my phone died halfway through a road trip and I ended up just screaming lyrics to "Teenage Dirtbag" with my windows down. The wind was so loud I couldn't even hear myself but it felt so freeing. There's something about not having a phone that makes singing along to those old radio hits way more fun. Plus you don't have to worry about anyone hearing you off-key since there's no recordings. Do you have a go-to song that always makes it onto your emergency list?
