Found the perfect volume sweet spot on my 2003 Corolla after 8 years
I always cranked up 'Bohemian Rhapsody' but the speakers would rattle like crazy above 28. Last week I noticed the rear deck had a loose screw holding the cover on - tightened it and now 32 sounds clean. Anyone else got a weird fix that made their car stereo sound way better without spending money?

Wait is this what I've been missing all these years? I'm the guy who literally duct taped a sock to my 2002 Civic's tweeter because it kept buzzing on "Sweet Child O' Mine" at volume 24. Ended up sounding like a muffled kazoo for six months before I realized the sock was just covering the speaker instead of fixing anything. Your screw trick is genius though, I bet the whole deck was practically vibrating itself apart.
