Just had a near miss blasting Parkway Drive on my commute last Tuesday
I was rolling down I-94 near Detroit with 'Carrion' at full volume, windows down, totally in my own world. Didn't notice the state trooper pacing me until he pulled alongside and gave me this look that said turn it down or get a ticket. Scared me straight, now I keep it under 75 and the volume at 8 instead of 11. Anyone else had a cop call them out for loud music?

Was the trooper cool about it or was he already looking for a reason to pull you over? I've had cops give me the stink eye for loud music before, but one time in Ohio a state trooper actually rolled down his window and yelled at me to kill the bass. It's like, I get it, but also, Parkway Drive at full volume is practically a religious experience. What kind of music were you even blasting that got his attention?

Man I had a cop in Georgia once pull me over for "excessive noise" when I was just playing Death Grips at a normal volume. The thing is, he was cool once he saw my face and realized it wasn't a bunch of teenagers in a hoopty. It's like they profile what kind of person is blasting what music and decide if they're a threat or not. I've seen the same thing happen with friends who listen to reggaeton or trap - they get pulled over way more often for the same volume. It's like loud music is just an excuse for them to check who you are and what you're about.

It's the same pattern with car inspections and tinted windows too, sadly.
