Just realized the trick to blasting songs at full volume in my Honda is rolling the windows down before I hit play
For 6 months I thought my speakers were shot because everything sounded muffled and flat when I cranked it up, but once I started cracking both front windows about 2 inches before pressing play on Bohemian Rhapsody, the bass hit way cleaner and I stopped getting that weird echo off the glass, so has anyone else noticed a huge difference just from window position or am I losing it?
That muffled sound was probably just your windows flexing and bouncing the bass right back at your ears the whole time. Physics is a cruel joke like that, you spend months thinking your speakers blew when really your car was just a bad concert hall. Next you'll tell me cracking the sunroof adds surround sound.
