My husband complained my car playlist was too mellow during a road trip to Phoenix
I swapped out all the quiet folk songs for one track - 'Renegades' by X Ambassadors - and now that's the only thing I crank to 11 on the highway. The bass drop at 0:45 just hits different when you're doing 75. Has anyone else found a single song that completely changed how you drive?

Man your husband is probably sitting there wondering if you joined some kind of car cult. Just imagine him watching you grip the wheel like you're about to launch into hyperspace while that bass hits. Bet he's too scared to change the playlist now. Honestly if I was him I'd just lean into it and start holding my phone up like a concert crowd. That song is definitely a vibe at highway speeds though.

Actually, that bass drop at 0:45 hits pretty much the same at any speed above 50. I've tested it, your mileage may vary obviously, but the adrenaline spike is more about the volume than the velocity. There's something about cranking that one specific moment where the whole car shakes that makes you feel like you're in a music video for a few seconds.
