That week in July 2022 when nothing went right but my car stereo saved me
Had the worst week last summer. Lost my job on Monday, got a flat tire Tuesday, then my dog got sick Wednesday. By Thursday I was just driving around crying in my car. Put on "Rebel Yell" by Billy Idol at full blast. Something clicked. The anger and sadness just turned into this raw energy. Now that's my go-to song whenever I hit rock bottom. Anyone else have a 'rescue song' that pulled them out of a bad week?

Music doesn't save anyone. That's just an excuse to avoid dealing with real problems.

Did you always think that way too, because I used to roll my eyes at people who said music saved them until my own car stereo pulled me out of a dark place?
