The single cab test that exposed my speaker setup in Phoenix
I spent months messing with EQ settings trying to get my truck's system to hit hard, but it always fell flat at stoplights. Last Thursday, I parked in my driveway with the windows up and walked 50 feet away to see what it ACTUALLY sounded like from outside. The bass was gone, just muddy mids, and that's when I realized acoustics matter more than the gear. Now I tune everything with the door cracked and a passenger seat folded down, it's a night and day difference. Anyone else check their sound from outside the vehicle or am I just weird about this?
