Why does every driving playlist skip the best part of Bohemian Rhapsody?

I was driving home from work on the 405 last week and put on Queen's classic. My friend in the passenger seat immediately skipped the opera section to get to the guitar solo. I called her out on it right there because that middle part is what makes the song so epic. Everyone I ride with does this same thing and it drives me crazy. They miss the buildup, the tension, the whole point of the track. If you're gonna blast a song in the car, you gotta let it play through all its weird moments. That's where the magic is. Am I the only one who thinks skipping sections ruins the whole experience?

Call your friend out every single time. Skipping the opera section is like skipping the chorus, it's the whole reason the song is legendary. That middle part builds up all the drama so the hard rock ending actually hits harder. People who do this probably skip the bass solo in Pink Floyd songs too. Why even listen to music if you're just gonna chop it up into bite sized pieces?

Oh come on, people skip the opera section? That's like ordering a pizza and eating just the crust. The whole song is a rollercoaster and they're hopping off right before the loop-de-loop. I've got a buddy who does this with "Stairway to Heaven" too, he just skips to the part where Plant starts yelling. Dude, you're missing the entire mood setup, it's like watching a movie but only the third act. Next time someone tells me they skip parts of songs I'm gonna ask if they also read books by just reading the last chapter. Might as well just listen to 15 second clips on TikTok at that point.

Right? It drives me crazy when someone cuts out the best part of a song. My buddy does this with Bohemian Rhapsody, skips right past the opera to the guitar solo... missing the whole point of the build.
