Why does nobody talk about how loud the opening riff of Killing in The Name is?

Honestly I was sitting in my driveway last night and my phone said I had it at 75% volume. I cranked it up to blast that song and the first snare hit literally rattled my rearview mirror loose. I had to get out and push it back into place after the song ended. Has anyone else ever had a car part just give up because of one specific track?

My 2004 Jeep lost a trim piece off the door panel the first time I played it. I glued that thing back on with super glue and it survived like five more years before the car finally died.

Not a snare hit, that's the kick drum right at the start (you know, the really low thump that shakes everything). Mine actually popped a fuse in my door speaker the first time I played it full volume, had to replace it the next day.

I used to think the first hit was a snare too, honestly. It wasn't until I replaced that door speaker and sat in the car with the volume at a reasonable level that I really heard the low end rumble. That kick drum is so deep it almost feels like a pressure wave more than a sound. I can see how it popped a fuse, that thing must be mixed way hotter than I ever realized. Definitely changed how I listen to that track now.
