Spent $40 on a mini fridge for my room and now I don't have to fight my roommate over who drank the last of the milk at 2am.

Best investment I ever made since she also has a habit of leaving the main fridge open to thaw things out and I got tired of warm leftovers, has anyone else just given up and bought their own appliance to keep the peace?

My own mini freezer in the garage saved my marriage honestly.

But honestly I don't get how a mini freezer solves the real problem. It's like putting a bandaid on a broken leg. My husband and I tried that route - he got a little freezer for his frozen pizzas and I kept my stuff in the main one. Next thing you know he's mad I'm using "his" space for ice packs and I'm annoyed he's leaving the garage door open letting all the cold air out. Seems like you're just creating a new battleground instead of learning to share the main fridge like adults.

Read an article online that said the average person spends like an hour a week arguing over shared fridge space. Definitely feels like a solid move for your sanity honestly. Small price compared to the peace of mind you get back lol.
