That $50 share of a Costco run I still regret
My roommate talked me into splitting a Costco trip for bulk groceries last January. I paid $50 for a giant bag of frozen chicken breasts and a 24-pack of pasta sauce. Turns out he moved out two weeks later and left me with three years worth of marinara. Has anyone else got stuck with a roommate's Costco leftovers?

Freezer was my best friend for that. I portioned out the chicken into smaller bags, dated them, and used them for quick dinners over the next year. The marinara I turned into a project. I gave jars to neighbors, used it as a base for chili and soup, and even made a huge batch of lasagna to freeze. Ended up with a pretty solid go to sauce for almost everything.

Honestly you're making the rest of us look bad with all that organization lol. Meanwhile I'm over here with a freezer full of mystery meat that might be from 2021. The marinara as a base for everything is genius though, that sauce probably had more flavor than anything I've ever bought at the store. Bet your neighbors were thrilled getting free jars of that stuff. I'd be knocking on your door like "hey remember me? I live two houses down.
