The WEEK my roommate tried to start a home bakery at 3 AM

Last Tuesday I woke up at 3 AM to find my roommate covered in flour, blasting music, and baking 40 loaves of bread because she "felt inspired." She used my last bag of sugar without asking and left eggshells in the sink for three days. Has anyone else's roommate snapped and turned the apartment into a full business overnight?

Actually starting a business at 3 AM on a whim isn't exactly responsible. Your roommate could have waited until morning to ask about the sugar. The mess left for three days just shows lack of basic courtesy.

Man, I don't know, this sounds kind of dramatic. Like yeah it's annoying she used your sugar without asking, but is it really that deep? @alice_kim makes it sound like she committed a crime. I've had roommates do way weirder stuff at 3 AM like painting the bathroom or having loud phone calls with their ex. The eggshells in the sink for three days is nasty, sure, but maybe she was just tired after baking 40 loaves. Honestly, I've seen way worse messes from roommates who were just cooking dinner, not starting a whole bakery.
