My 600 word story prompt turned into 4,000 words and a fight with my neighbor in Fresno
I tried the 'write a story in one page' prompt last Tuesday and ended up with a 22 page mess about a guy who talks to his lawn gnomes, then my neighbor in Fresno knocked on my door at 11pm to ask why I was yelling about gnome betrayal through the wall, so now I need a prompt that forces me to actually stop at 600 words or at least keeps my voice down.
