Rant: I called writing prompts with word limits lazy and now I eat my words
For 2 years I swore a 100 word cap killed any real story, then a prompt about a missed bus in Tucson got me the best scene I wrote in all of 2025. Anyone got a tight limit that surprised them like that?

Learned that lesson with cooking, less ingredients forced more flavor.

Tbh same thing happens with seasoning, pick two good ones instead of dumping ten in there.
