Tried a 'write drunk, edit sober' prompt from a workshop and my draft was just gibberish
I gave it a real shot with a glass of wine last Thursday, but the next morning I had three pages of nonsense about a sentient toaster. Anyone have a better method for shaking up a first draft that doesn't involve actual drinks?

Honestly you just didn't commit hard enough. That toaster idea sounds like a solid start, you just needed more wine before the editing part.

Honestly this is just how life works, you think something's a toaster but really it's been a blender the whole time and nobody tells you until way later.
