Had to pick between a password manager and my old notebook system

For years I kept all my passwords in a little notebook by my desk, but after my friend got hacked last month I knew I had to change. The choice was either stick with the notebook or try a password manager like Bitwarden. I went with Bitwarden and spent about two hours moving everything over. It felt weird at first, but now I have over 80 unique passwords and don't have to remember any of them. What other big security changes felt scary but ended up being totally worth it?

Honestly, was your friend's notebook password just "password123"?

Man, my buddy was terrified to turn on two-factor for his email. He was sure he'd get locked out forever. Took his bank getting weird charges to finally do it, and now he says it's the best sleep he's had in years.

Ever worry about losing access to the password manager itself?
