Learned my lesson about phishing links at 3am

Clicked a fake Amazon password reset email at 2:47am last Tuesday when I was half asleep. Luckily my 2FA caught it before they got into my account, but I still had to change 30 passwords. Anyone else had a close call from being too tired to look at the URL?

Sleep deprivation makes you do dumb stuff way beyond just clicking bad links. That 2FA probably saved you a weekend of headaches for sure. Funny how the 3am brain thinks it's being efficient when it's really just setting a trap for your future self.

Oh man, isn't that always how it goes? You think you're being super productive at 3am scrolling through emails and then bam, you almost hand over your whole digital life to some scammer. I totally did the same thing last year with a fake Netflix payment problem. I was dead tired after a long day and clicked the link before I even looked at it. My brain was like "oh no my shows are going away, better fix this right now" and it was straight up a fake page. Had my credit card info in there before I realized it was a scam and had to lock everything down. 2FA is the only reason I didn't wake up to a bunch of weird charges on my card the next morning. That tired brain really does make you think you're being smart when you're actually just walking right into a trap.
