Serious question, I used to think a single strong password was fine until my neighbor's kid guessed it in 10 minutes

I changed my mind after he said 'your dog's name plus 123 isn't a password, it's a welcome sign' and now I use a password manager for everything, but what's the best free one that actually works on a phone and a laptop?

Wait, so the kid just guessed it? Did you have your dog's name on a social media post or a mailbox sticker or something? I'm trying to figure out how he even made the connection that fast, because that's the scary part people miss.

Honestly people are WAY too paranoid. Kids are just good at patterns, it's not some master hacking thing. My nephew guessed my mom's password once because he saw her type it in like twice.

Bitwarden works great on both... and the free version is all you really need.
