That one guy at the coffee shop who laughed at me for using 'password123' made me rethink my whole setup

He overheard me telling my buddy about my router admin login at the counter on 3rd Street, and after he stopped chuckling he asked if I had any 2FA on anything, which I didn't, and then he pulled out his phone and showed me how to check if I'd been pwned in like 30 seconds, but it turned out my email was in like four data breaches from old forums and now I'm wondering how many of us are just one bad password away from a mess, has anyone else had a random stranger call them out like that?

Wait, did this guy just expose your entire security situation over a latte and then hand you a free cybersecurity lesson? That's either the nicest random act of nerd-dom I've ever heard, or he was just flexing his tech skills to impress you (it worked, I guess). Either way, I'm honestly jealous he was so chill about it because the last stranger who approached me at a coffee shop just wanted to talk about my dog's "subtle aura".
