TIL password managers fixed my worst habit in 3 days

I used to reuse the same password for everything, even my bank and email. Last Tuesday I finally set up Bitwarden after my coworker in Denver kept nagging me about it. Three days later I changed all 47 logins to unique random strings and I honestly didn't expect it to feel that easy. The auto-fill on my phone made it painless, so now I'm confused why I waited 5 years. Has anyone else had that moment where you realized the tool was the whole problem and not your discipline?

The part about the tool being the whole problem really hit home for me. I read a piece a while back about how our brains are wired to take the easy path, so fighting bad habits with willpower alone is basically setting yourself up to fail. Once the password manager did the heavy lifting, it was like my brain finally had permission to stop worrying about remembering everything.

Have you tried taking that same approach with other parts of your routine? I did the exact same thing with my calendar and it changed everything for me. Once I stopped trying to remember every appointment and just let the app ping me, my head finally cleared up for the stuff that actually mattered.
