Had a week where everything went right and it weirded me out

Last Monday the AC broke at my apartment complex and I had 3 tenants call me screaming. By Wednesday the repair was done for $150 under budget and nobody even complained about the temp. Has anyone else had a week that was so smooth it felt like a trap?

Oh man, that is the weirdest feeling right? My buddy Dave had a week like that last summer. He's a plumber, not me, but his whole schedule just lined up perfectly. Every job took half the time he guessed, customers paid on the spot, and he even found a twenty dollar bill in a parking lot. He kept waiting for something to go wrong, like a pipe bursting or a truck breaking down, but nothing bad happened. It got to the point where he was almost suspicious, like the universe was setting him up for a huge fall. But honestly, sometimes things just work out and we're not used to it.

That reminds me of something that happened to my neighbor Frank a few years back. He had a whole month where everything went right, and he ended up winning a small prize in the lottery on top of it all. He got so spooked he actually went to his doctor thinking he might be having some kind of medical episode that was messing with his perception of reality. The doctor just laughed and told him to enjoy it while it lasted.
