Just hit 50,000 miles on my Ford work van and it completely caught me off guard
I was sitting at a red light in Birmingham today and the odometer clicked over to 50k exactly, which hit me harder than I expected because that means I've been doing this route for 3 years straight now without even noticing. Has anyone else had a random milestone moment like that, or am I just overthinking a dumb number?

You know what, I used to think those little milestones were just random numbers on a dash too, never really paid them any mind. But last year I hit 200k in my old pickup, sitting in the exact same parking lot where I'd picked up a beat-up couch three years before, and it really got me. It's weird how a number can make you stop and realize how much time has passed without you noticing, like all those miles just snuck up on you.
