The difference 3 weeks of stretching made on my lower back
I started doing 10 minutes of hamstring stretches every morning after my sciatica flared up. Three weeks later I can actually bend over and tie my shoes without grunting. Has anyone else had a simple stretch routine fix something you thought was permanent?

Started out thinking stretching was just some trendy social media bs honestly. But after my lower back locked up from sitting at a desk all day I gave it a shot. Felt stupid at first but now my hamstrings are way less tight and bending over to pick stuff up isnt a whole production anymore. Never thought 10 minutes of simple stretches would make that big of a difference in just a few weeks.

Oh man, I totally get that. I used to roll my eyes at any stretching stuff too, thought it was just for like athletes or yoga influencers or whatever. But then I started getting this weird tightness in my hip from sitting all day doing computer work and it was honestly kind of scary. Decided to try some basic hamstring and hip flexor stretches after seeing a bunch of people recommend it online and I felt so dumb doing it at first, like was I really this person now? But after like two weeks I could actually feel a difference, like my legs just felt looser and I wasn't waking up stiff anymore. I mean, it's not like I'm doing anything fancy, just maybe 5 minutes before bed, but it seriously changed how I feel the next day. So yeah, I'm definitely on board now.

Oh man, that hip tightness thing is no joke. I started getting it too from driving around all day, and a buddy told me to try doing some simple stretches before I even got out of the truck. Felt like an idiot at first but now I swear by it, makes a world of difference.
