Was scrolling old reddit threads and found a post from 8 years ago predicting my exact job situation

I was bored last night digging through a subreddit about bad bosses from 2016 and stumbled on a rant that described my current manager perfectly down to the same coffee mug phrase. The OP said their boss would add fake deadlines to make themselves look important and here I am dealing with that exact thing in 2024. Has anyone else found a post from years ago that felt like it was written about your life today?

Three years into a job I had saved screenshots of the passive-aggressive emails from my old boss, and when I got a new one who wrote the exact same way it felt like a glitch in the matrix. My advice is to keep a folder of that stuff so you can spot the patterns early next time.
