Hit my 100th consecutive morning walk this week and it feels bigger than I expected

After 4 months of getting up at 6am even on rainy days, I passed 100 straight walks around Lake Eola, and the surprise is that my resting heart rate dropped 11 beats, so has anyone else seen a physical payoff show up way later than the habit felt like it was working?

The "dropped 11 beats" part really got me. Same thing happened around day 90 for me, my blood pressure finally went down too. It's wild how your body just quietly adjusts while you're stuck in the routine grind.

Gotta disagree with you there, @martin.paige. The heart rate drop felt more like my body just giving up on caring than some quiet adjustment, and the blood pressure thing didn't show up until way later for me.
