Lysol wipes vs. the cheap store brand wipes: not even close

I was in a rush at the dollar store near my house in Akron and grabbed their off brand wipes to save $2. Big mistake. They dried out after two days and barely lifted any grime off countertops. I went back to the regular Lysol wipes and they actually hold moisture for weeks and cut through sticky stuff way better. Has anyone found a cheaper brand that actually works as well as Lysol?

Toss them in the fridge and cheap wipes last way longer.

yeah but does the cold actually stop them from drying out or does it just make them feel less crusty? i tried putting a half used pack in my glovebox once and they were basically rocks by the next morning. wondering if the fridge trick works for like a month or just a few days. cause if i gotta keep restocking them every week it kind of defeats the purpose of buying cheap.

oh man, you might be onto something. i usually just let them dry out and get frustrated but this is actually smart. gonna try it with my next pack.
