My uncle the mechanic said check the easy stuff first
Last Sunday my uncle Earl, he's been turning wrenches for 30 years, watched me panic over a shop vac that just quit. He walked over, unplugged it, checked the bag, and pulled a sock out of the hose. Said '90% of the time it's the dumbest answer, so start dumb.' I've been applying that to my flooring jobs ever since, is that a habit other people have tried with their own daily headaches?
