Ran into an old neighbor at the coffee shop who remembered my garden from 3 years ago
He told me my tomato plants looked better than his and asked what I did different. I showed him a photo on my phone of the basil I grew last season and he said it made him want to start planting again.

@gibson.elizabeth I'm with you, not every basil compliment has to be some big deal. Sometimes a guy just likes fresh herbs, no hidden agenda. Why do we always assume there's more to it than that?

honestly i feel like people are making this way deeper than it needs to be. it's just basil, not a whole relationship test.
