Stuck in a two-hour traffic jam on the I-5 made me question my whole commute

I was just sitting there, engine off, and realized I could have been listening to a whole audiobook or calling my mom. Now I keep a 'car kit' with a book and a charger in the glove box. What do you guys do to make dead time feel less wasted?
