Vent: my $40 rice cooker outlasted my $300 induction stove and I'm not sure who to blame
Bought the stove last March, fancy thing with all the presets. Failed on Tuesday, just stopped heating mid boil. Repair guy quoted me $180 for a sensor board. Meanwhile that cheap rice cooker my mom gave me in 2019 is still going. Cooked rice last night like nothing happened. How is the simple machine more reliable than the expensive one? Has anyone else had a high end appliance crap out while your budget gear keeps running? Feels backwards.
