What if you got a small win from a total mess at the grocery store?

I was at the big Kroger on Maple Street last Tuesday, trying to get stuff for dinner. My cart had a wobbly wheel and I hit a display of soup cans, knocking about ten of them onto the floor. Instead of just walking away, I stopped and picked every single one up. The store manager saw me and actually thanked me, saying most people just leave it. It made me realize how a tiny bit of effort can fix a small problem before it gets bigger for someone else. Now I always take the extra thirty seconds to clean up my own little spills or messes, anywhere. Has a small moment like that ever changed a simple habit for you?

Totally get what you're saying, it's wild how those little stories stick with you. Makes me wonder if @black.joel is onto something asking about the source, because the magazine itself might be the small problem needing a fix. Like, maybe the mag is hard to find now or super expensive, and just asking around could solve that for someone else. That tiny bit of effort from one person can ripple out way further than the original story.
