Why does nobody talk about how boring leftovers actually get after day 3?

I know everyone loves meal prepping and saving money, but last week I had the same chili from Monday all the way through Thursday. By Wednesday night I was staring at that plastic container like it was a punishment. People always say leftovers taste better the next day, but they never mention how by day 4 you would rather eat crackers than face another bowl. I live in a small apartment in Denver so my freezer space is tiny, not like I can just stash everything away for a month. My sister swears by freezing individual portions, but I tried that with some pasta 3 years ago and it came out mushy and gross. Does anyone else hit this wall where you just cannot look at another serving of the same dish, or am I being dramatic about this?

Actually, pasta freezes fine if you undercook it by 2 minutes before freezing.

I always thought frozen pasta was gross, but that undercook trick actually makes sense.
