Checked my phone's location history and it had logged 1,247 trips to my kid's school
I mean, it's just the school run, but seeing that exact number laid out felt like a weird invasion. Has anyone else turned off a specific phone setting because of something like this?

Turned off location history for that exact reason. Felt like I was being watched by my own phone.

Honestly @paigesullivan, that "watched by my own phone" feeling is so real. I went through my app permissions last month and it was scary. Stuff like my weather app wanting constant location just to give a forecast, or a note-taking app tracking me all day. I turned off background location for almost everything. Now I only let maps use it when the app is open. Phone feels way less creepy now.
