Found 47 apps on my phone tracking me without my knowledge

I used a privacy scanner app last week and it showed 47 apps were sending my location data to third parties. What number did you guys hit when you checked your own phones?

Are you 100% sure it was actually tracking your location without your knowledge though? I've run those scanner apps before and half the time they're counting things like apps that ping your location for legitimate reasons (weather apps, maps, even your camera for geotagging). The scanner app itself might be the one selling your data too, honestly.

Oh man, I'd be lucky if my phone only found 47 apps tracking me. Half of them are probably just tracking how long it takes me to find my keys every morning.
