Found out my phone was tracking every store I walked into for 6 months

I was looking through my Google account settings last week and saw a whole list of stores I visited with timestamps. Target, Walmart, the gas station down the street. I never gave permission for that. My friend said it's part of some location history setting I apparently turned on years ago. Has anyone else found creepy stuff like this in their account settings?

Wait, did you check the Amazon app too? @norag66 same here, I saw a list of stores I walked into from two years ago and it honestly creeped me out. I turned that setting off the second I realized it was running in the background.
