Serious question, my photo organizing project has me freaked out about data breaches.
I was cleaning out my attic and found stacks of old photo albums from the 80s and 90s. Back then, our family pictures stayed safe in a box, not on some company's server. Now, I just snap pics on my phone and they zip off to the cloud without me even knowing where. I heard about a big leak where people's private photos got stolen and posted online. It makes me miss the days when the only risk was my dog chewing up a print. Now I feel like I have to hide my digital life just to keep it safe. Maybe I'll start printing my favorite shots again and keep them in a drawer.

Back in 2005, I had a shoebox full of graduation pics under my bed. My roommate's cat somehow got in there and used them as a litter box for a week before we noticed. So much for the safety of physical copies, right? Now I just hope the cloud servers have better security than my old apartment.

Wait, is it more about losing the photos themselves or the idea of strangers seeing your private moments?

Really wonder what kinds of pictures make you the most nervous about them getting out. Is it the family birthday party shots, or more personal stuff you thought was safe in a locked folder? My cousin got paranoid and deleted all her baby photos from online, which she now regrets.
