Tracked my own location history for a week and it freaked me out
I used to just let Google Maps log everything automatically until I looked at the timeline last Tuesday and saw it knew I spent 14 minutes in the pharmacy aisle at CVS. Now I pause location access on my phone every morning and only turn it on when I actually need directions, has anyone else noticed how creepy the detailed breadcrumbs get?

And @sagep19, the 2 AM freezer aisle thing is so weirdly specific it's almost funny.

Man I felt this in my bones. Last month my Google Maps timeline showed I spent 6 minutes staring at the freezer section in a 7-Eleven at 2 AM and I still have no idea what I was doing there. Maybe I sleepwalked to buy a burrito or something. The part that gets me is how it knows I took a specific shortcut through an alley to avoid traffic, like big brother is just casually watching me save 90 seconds on my commute. I still let it track me half the time because I'm lazy and like the estimated arrival texts, but now I feel judged every time I see "lunch stop at McDonald's - 22 minutes.

Wait, did you check the date on that? I had a night last week where my maps said I was at a 24-hour laundromat for 40 minutes and I don't even own a washing machine lol.
