Heads up if you're planning a date at that new axe-throwing bar downtown
I went there last Friday and watched three different couples nearly hit each other because the staff didn't check anyone's form before letting them throw, so maybe skip it unless you want your date to end in the ER.

Oh man, is the ER a new Hot dating spot I haven't heard about? Last time I went axe throwing I somehow managed to hit the wall BEHIND me, and my date was just standing there with this look of pure terror. I honestly don't blame the staff though because they were probably too busy trying to figure out why I was holding the axe like it was a microphone. I'm pretty sure I looked like a confused caveman discovering fire for the first time. So yeah, maybe stick to mini golf where the worst thing you can do is accidentally whack someone with a putter. At least then you can laugh about it over a drink instead of needing stitches.

Sympathize hard with that axe throwing story. I once took a date to a pottery class and somehow flung a chunk of clay straight into my own face, and the whole room just went silent. Mini golf is definitely the safer bet, you can still mess up but at least it's funny instead of terrifying.
