My date took me to a paintball place and I ended up with a bruise the size of a dinner plate

So I met this guy on an app and things were going okay. He suggested paintball for a first date. I thought it would be fun. 45 minutes in I got hit in the thigh from like 10 feet away. It hurt so bad I almost cried. The bruise lasted two weeks. Has anyone else had a date activity that went completely wrong?

One time my friend thought it'd be a great idea to take me to a trampoline park for my birthday. She's super athletic and I'm basically a potato. First jump I land weird and my ankle buckles. Spent the next hour sitting on the side watching kids bounce while my ankle swelled up like a balloon. Had to wear one of those stupid boot things for two weeks. So yeah, sometimes people with good intentions just pick the worst activities for the rest of us.

10 feet away? That's close range for paintball. Usually you're not supposed to shoot from under 20-25 feet at an open play field. Sounds like the refs weren't paying attention or the place had bad rules. I've played a bunch and that kind of hit at that distance leaves a welt, not just a bruise. You probably want ice and arnica gel next time.
