Rant: That app match who brought her mom to the sushi place last Tuesday

So I matched with this girl on Hinge, we agree to meet at Sushi Kaito in Denver last Tuesday night, and she walks in with her mom who sits down and starts grilling me about my 401k - has anyone else had a date turn into a family interview out of nowhere?

Hold up, she brought her mom to a sushi date? That is wild, man. I cannot believe she sat her down to ask about your retirement plan before you even ordered a roll. What did you even say to that? Did her mom start taking notes or pull out a clipboard? I would have been looking around for a hidden camera, that is just too weird. You showed a lot of restraint not just walking out right then and there.
