Showerthought: My date's car battery died in a Walmart parking lot in Tempe
What should have been a 15 minute jump turned into a 3 hour ordeal because the terminals were completely corroded. Anyone else have a simple date night issue spiral into a marathon?

Actually, this sounds like a perfect date night to me... nothing builds character like troubleshooting a corroded battery together in a Walmart lot.

That kind of domino effect is the worst. Once had a flat tire turn into a whole thing because the spare was flat too. Ended up waiting for a tow truck in some random lot for two hours, just sitting on the curb. Makes you realize how many little things can go wrong all at once. What should be a quick fix just eats your whole night.

Man, @davis.noah, that's the universe just piling on. It's like when your coffee maker breaks so you spill instant coffee, then the power flickers and resets your router. You're just sitting there in the dark, no internet, drinking bad coffee, wondering what tiny problem hits next. The dominoes never fall in your favor.
