That time I matched with a guy who brought his mom along for dinner
I swear, I thought he was joking when he said 'I'll bring a plus one' but no, his mom sat down and started critiquing my outfit within 5 minutes at Olive Garden last Saturday. Has anyone else dealt with a date who clearly didn't read the memo about what a date actually is?

Oh man, a mom date at Olive Garden? That's a whole new level of bad. At least she could have critiqued the breadsticks first before coming for your outfit.

Actually, I'm kind of wondering if bringing mom along was his weird way of vetting you for something serious (like, hey, if you can handle Olive Garden AND her mom-approval filter, maybe you're wife material?). Terry_thomas has a point about those breadsticks being the real priority though, can't argue with that.
